Over the years, what began as a small carpentry team has grown into a complete design-build firm — in-house design, cabinetry shop, and field crews — known across the Twin Cities for the same things every year: clear planning, careful workmanship, transparent pricing, and homes that look like they were always meant to be that way.

Knutson Custom Remodelers offers design, drafting, structural engineering, custom cabinetry fabrication, finish carpentry, and project management — all under one roof. Our showroom holds material samples for cabinetry, countertops, tile, plumbing, and hardware. Our 7,000-square-foot cabinetry shop builds every box, door, drawer front, and finish coat in-house. Our field crews handle demo, framing, mechanical coordination, drywall, finish carpentry, install, and punch list with the same standards on every project.
Clear communication with clients and craftsmen is a core value. Many crew members have been with Knutson for more than 15 years — a testament to the company's culture and workmanship. Every project gets a dedicated project manager who runs the schedule from contract to final walk-through.
